Herbs and spices are some of the most powerful foods in the culinary pharmacy. They contain compounds that help reduce inflammation, support the immune system, and turn off genes of disease. In this culinary nutrition workshop we will lean how to make herb pestos, herb-infused vinegar and oil, and a warming tulsi chai tea. All participants will sample the pestos, vinegar, and oil, and make their own tulsi chai tea blend to take home.
